The Little Things in Life

Everyday Life, Simplified

It is so easy to get carried away with the daily grind. Yet on some seemingly gloomy days, I am relieved to find beauty in something as simple as a new bloom.  Houston has been uncharacteristically cold in the last few days with persistent freezing rain all winter. Yet yesterday, I came home to this - my very first Bird of Paradise bloom! Oh, thy joy! I planted this guy three years ago not realizing how long it will take to mature. But this lovely surprise could have not come at a better time!

What Makes All the Work Worth It...

These Ladies!

When I started Kaya, I never imagined that it would bring me this much joy to be part of my customers' special day. My suspicion is that at some point, they simply become far more than customers. And it is so heartwarming to know that through our little shop, we are able to add a touch more happiness to their special day. It has been a joy to get to know you. A warm and kind thank you to all!
